After making its first appearance in 2023, the Freak Show Carnival is returning to Grande Prairie for a limited run. This one-of-a-kind, vintage carnival-inspired photography experience is packed with dramatic styling, theatrical details, and plenty of room to embrace your most daring side.

A little history behind the Freak Show Carnival
My pin-up photography journey officially began in 2015. As a longtime admirer of the pin-up world, I've always been drawn to concepts that are fun, classic, theatrical, and a little unusual.
One of those inspirations came from the vintage carnival aesthetic featured in American Horror Story: Freak Show. For years, I talked about bringing that world to life as a photography set, but finding the time and resources to make it happen was another story.
Then, in 2023, the Freak Show Carnival finally came to life.
With the help of many talented hands, we spent the summer building and creating the set from the ground up. Once the carnival was ready, we packed up the spectacle and took it on the road, beginning our sideshow adventure in Drumheller.
Now, after being behind the curtain since 2024, the Freak Show Carnival is returning to Grande Prairie this October.
And this time, pole enthusiasts have the opportunity to incorporate pole-inspired tricks and movement into their session, adding another layer of drama, strength, and spectacle to their portraits.
